The Fourth Cycle of the UNECE Environmental Performance Reviews (EPRs) was adopted by the Committee on Environmental Policy (CEP) in 2020 and endorsed by Ministers in Nicosia in 2022.
This informal paper provides information to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Committee on Environmental Policy about activities of the ECE secretariat, working with partners, to support the assessment of the environmental damage caused by the war in Ukraine.
This document is intended to share information on early thinking regarding an eighth pan-European environmental assessment. The Committee on Environmental Policy is not being asked to take any decision at this stage.
